to eat or not to eat.

I'll be flying to New York on the 7th then back to LA for a little bit before leaving for London  :)

The next three months will be really exciting, I suppose.

In the meantime, I'm trying to figure out a way to deal with a girl who is extremely complaisant towards me even though I've been giving her the cold shoulder for over two months now (she totally deserved it). She's going so far as to sync her schedules with mine so she'd be able to visit me once I return from UK but I doubt that is possible because

1) I'm not going to stop over at her home country.
2) I think she still has to attend classes???
3) I won't be back until October and I can't guarantee I'll be free
4) My parents are strongly against this awkward, one-sided friendship, claiming that the only reason she's still sticking to me despite my best efforts to keep her away is because she has lots to gain from it, namely connections and possible accommodation at several places. (wtf)

I can't think of anything else she'd gain from sucking up to me though. Besides, ...I don't know. What I'm certain is I don't gain anything from this and I don't enjoy her company. The only reason I'm still keeping in contact is because she's currently in a foreign land, living with an ex drug-peddler boyfriend who spews a lot of BS and has been crying regularly over ruined travel plans because of said loser boyfriend.

I sound like a condescending bitch, I know and maybe I am in this case :(

The male BFF and I went for dinner in the eastern part of the city last night and we discussed this slight issue I'm having. He couldn't comprehend the girl's fondness towards yours-bitch-truly either, especially since he had witnessed me making mean, sarcastic replies when she said nice empty words to me. I'm just going to pull the old "I'm busy" tactic when she asks me to meet her again. Feelings will fade and in time, I'm sure she'll give up trying.

I'm sorry.

There is always one person you love who becomes that definition. It usually happens retrospectively, but it happens eventually. This is the person who unknowingly sets the template for what you will always love about other people, even if some of these lovable qualities are self-destructive and unreasonable. The person who defines your understanding of love is not inherently different than anyone else, and they’re often just the person you happen to meet the first time you really, really, want to love someone. But that person still wins. They win, and you lose. Because for the rest of your life, they will control how you feel about everyone else.

I pet a tortoise the size of a shoebox for the first time in my life today.

There is magic in first times. It's a feeling you can't quite put into words but forever etched in memory.

Something new every day. something new every day . . .

Love the updates in the latest newsletter.

Tweetie is mentioned as the twitter app for Mac OSX!

random: I was going to start this post with the sentence " Love the news in the newest newsletter ". Now that would be a mouthful to say even in your mind, wouldn't it?

what it's like to have a loving father:

dad: remember to eat a lot, alright?
me: Trust me, I'm eating a lot. I'm getting FAT-terrrrrrr.
dad: Don't worry about it. Isn't it better to be fuller?
me: Fuller, yes. But I'm just getting fatter. hahahahaha
dad: Don't worry about it, honey.

The kind of movies I like these days. Quaint, sentimental and simple.

I think this is going to be Joo Ji Hoon's last movie since his entertainment career is pretty much done after his drug-using habit was exposed.

I don't mind the "20 something looking like a 30 something but claiming that you're 15" facade you put up. They'd stop pointing this out if you have an awesome personality, so stop being such a bitch and sour grape and maybe things will be better for you. You can't blame her for being almost 30 but not looking a day older than 24. You can't blame me for looking like a 17 year-old. We're Asians. Remember Beijing 2008? Besides, it's not that great being treated like a teenager again.

Just sayin'.

PS: do not wear too much brown.

What's everyone's plans for Memorial Day weekend?
